GSP- Dapitan City NHS commemorates Jose P. Rizal's death

       Dapitan City National High School-Girl Scouts joined the ceremony hosted by the City of Dapitan, Zamboanga del Norte as they commemorate the 120 years death anniversary of our National Hero Jose P. Rizal at the Rizal Park of Talisay Dapitan City. It was participated by the different agencies of the City specially the Department of Education as the biggest delegation headed by the Regional Director Isabelita M. Borres.

GSP-ZANORTE COUNCIL PRESIDENT-Evelyn T. Uy

             It's the most wonderful time of of the year. It's Christmas time. It's the season to be jolly. Merry Christmas to one and all.

          She is like Santa Claus. She loves giving presents to everyone. She is one of the people in this world whose goals are; to help fellowmen and make them happy not just on Christmas but also in different kinds of occasions. she is such a good model to every Girl Scout around the world by doing what is right and ready to serve every human - being in this world. She is our Council President, Mrs. Evelyn T. Uy.

      Last December 8, 2016, the Zamboanga del Norte Council had it's Christmas party held at Mt. Sinai, Minaog Dipolog City, together with the Council Board members and the Camp Staff of the 28th Council Wide Encampment. The Council President was there bringing so many presents good for us. She made us very happy and that is one of her goals in her life, giving special presents for everyone. We really had a great time with her and enjoying every moment in the party. Each one of us appreciated everything that Mrs. Evelyn T. Uy shared to us and we are very much thankful for having her in the party.

            It was such a very good characteristic of being a President; to have a kind heart, willing to help and serve others and most of all a good model to us Girl Scouts by doing great things for others without expecting something in return neither to impress everyone but to show that no matter what happen she is there for us to lend a hand whenever someone is in need.

Girl Scouts Zamboanga del Norte IGNITE

Girl Scouts-Zamboanga del Norte(Salug NHS, Dapitan City NHS, RMI DCI, ZDNNHS) delegates participated the 36th National Encampment at Palayan City, Nueva Ecija. Various activities where experienced by the Girl Scouts wherein girls developed independence, self-esteem, friendship and camaraderie.

"Every accomplishment starts with a decision to simply try", there's no such greater achievement than being a Chief Girl Scout, you can be one of them too if you have patience, hard work and most of all strong determination. Three from Dapitan City National High School namely: Kharla Joy Denura-Community Project (Health), Christine Joy Marie Pimentel- Community Project(Ecology), Ausjeremiah Montances - Community Project (Livelihood) and Zamboanga del Norte National High School Jan Therese Mayormita - Community Project (Health).
